Insertion of Nasogastric Tube

A nasogastric (NG) tube is a long and narrow feeding tube that goes through a person’s nose and down into the stomach.

Nasogastric tube feeding is a common practice in all age groups, from neonates to older people. Tube feedings are given when a patient cannot drink or eat enough in order to have adequate nutrition for the body which is vital in healing and recovery. It is also used to administer medication.

Our licensed nurses are fully competent both theoretically and in practical training to perform such medical practice.
